How does Recycled Plastic become a bear?
Did you know your cuddly teddy bear might’ve started as a water bottle? It’s true! Here’s how it all works:
- Old plastic bottles are collected and recycled.
- They’re cleaned, sorted, and broken into tiny pieces (called granules).
- Those granules get melted down and turned into silky threads.
- The threads are woven into soft fabric, dyed, and made ready for sewing.
- Finally, the fabric is cut, stitched, and shaped into your plush friend!
